Featuring cookbook author, Gabrielle Langholtz

Join us on Wednesday, July 25th, in celebration of America, a really great place to live and eat! We are excited to welcome Gabrielle Langholtz, author of America: The Cookbook, to the Roadhouse for an evening dedicated to the best food traditions America has to offer.

We are honored to feature a book that showcases the diversity of our beloved country—and also includes an essay written by Ari Weinzweig! Ari’s contributions about really wild, wild rice and really good cream cheese are just a couple of glimpses into the culinary heritage captured in this beautiful book. From cover to shining cover, Gabrielle’s masterpiece holds 800 recipes that include regional classics as well as the food of refugees and immigrants.

Bookpage calls America: The Cookbook "[T]he most exuberant celebration yet of our culinary melting pot...Every turn of the page delivers a new delight or an old friend, transforming Langholtz's cookbook into an amble through the abundance of the splendid, sprawling American table."

The Roadhouse invites you for an incredible journey across the nation, as Chef Bob prepares delicious dishes from Gabrielle’s book, and we hear her talk in person about her favorite stories. America: The Cookbook will be available for purchase and autograph.
