We host a monthly Suckling Pig Dinner - each month featuring a different theme. These monthly dinners have become a place for delicious food, family, community, camaraderie, conversation, and laughter!

Theme: Spice Week with Épices de Cru

Our popular monthly dinner series has a fun origin story. When all the partners from Zingerman's Community of Businesses visited Montreal, the de Viennes family of Épices de Cru threw a huge party at their house. There was an abundance of amazing food, with one of the absolute highlights being a roasted suckling pig. It was such a warm welcome that when the Spice Trekkers visited Ann Arbor last year for the annual Spice Week, Miss Kim threw a party with a suckling pig as the centerpiece to welcome them. It was so well received and the atmosphere so fun, that we've done it every month since.

You can help us celebrate how it all started with their visit this month! Join us for beautifully roasted suckling pigs and an array of subtle and bold dishes showing off spices. The Spice Trekkers will be here to tell you all about spices we're using, stories of sourcing and using them, and much more. • Suckling Pig roasted with Chinese 5 Spice rub

• Original Handmade Taiwanese Style Gua Bao with pickled Chinese mustard greens, mustard seeds, cilantro, and chopped nuts

• Roasted Cabbage with Koryo Seeds, spiced with coriander seeds, cumin, sesame seeds and perilla seeds

• Warm Spring Vegetable with Soft Eggs, tossed in yuzu kosho, shichimi togarashi

• Annie Li's Family MaPo Tofu with Imperial Red Sichuan peppercorn

• Multi Grain Rice with Green Peas: Black rice, wild sticky rice, barley and job’s tears, with green peas and Zingerman’s Black Pepper

• Spicy Herb Salad with Coriander, dressed in Korean chili flakes, coriander seeds and sesame oil

• Chilled Mung Bean Jello Salad with Chive Dressing and sancho peppers
