Announcing Alon and Emily Shaya of New Orleans

The Shayas return to the Roadhouse for one of our favorite annual events! If you missed them the first time they cooked with us, this is your chance to meet the talented founders of Pomegranate Hospitality in New Orleans.

Named one of the “50 People Who Are Changing the South” by Southern Living magazine in 2015, and one of the “50 Most Influential Jews in America” by The Forward, James Beard Award-winning chef Alon Shaya is ready to make our 11th Annual Bacon Ball the best one yet. Both Alon and Emily’s cooking and their generous spirits perfectly express what Camp Bacon is all about: engaging the community and celebrating the cultural diversity behind the food we love. Anyone who has eaten at their restaurants, Saba or Safta, know exactly what we are talking about. And now we get to experience Alon’s dishes right here in Ann Arbor. Emily, the Red Bean Queen of New Orleans, will be the belle of the ball with her award-winning recipe of Camellia beans and rice.

Don’t miss your chance to get into the swing of the 11th Annual Bacon Ball, exclusively at Zingerman’s Roadhouse.
