This hands-on event will give you the confidence to create a cheese plate for any occasion! We’ll have a selection of cheeses and accompaniments from our Cream Top Shop available to taste and use to build your own unique cheese plate. Just in time for your holiday celebrations, you’ll leave with our tips and tricks for creating an eye-catching cheese centerpiece, enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or grape juice while you build your creation, and take home a cheese platter for up to 10 people to enjoy.

For the first time in our 35 years, we're offering a guided shopping experience through Zingerman's Deli to find the perfect food gifts for your friends and family this holiday season!
Join us at the Deli Next Door Tuesday evenings (12/5, 12/12 & 12/19) from 6-7pm with Brad for a chat about the different types of gift recipients, the most popular Zingerman's gifts, how to ship them across the country and everything else that comes to mind. We’ll spend about 30 minutes in a class-like setting, then head to the Deli for gift exploration. Don't wander in the food wilderness alone, let us guide you to giving the gift of Zing!

Join us in a celebration of holiday cocktails inspired by the American Colonial period for our winter cocktail class in our historic Red Barn at Cornman Farms. Your host, Beth, will lead the group in an exploration of Christmastime cocktails from early America, including the boozy, beer-based tavern staple known as the Rattle-Skull; a favorite of the founding fathers called Fish House Punch; and an original cocktail created just for this event incorporating sparkling wine and homemade Cherry Bounce (a specialty of Martha Washington, handcrafted by your host and aged for over one month). As an added treat, Beth will prepare a batch of traditional eggnog based on George Washington’s personal recipe, which we’ll use to toast the end of the evening. Guests will learn to make (and then enjoy!) all three drinks, and will leave with the recipes and skills required to recreate these colonial-inspired Christmas cocktails at home. There will be light fare served during the class. We look forward to ringing in the Holiday Season with you!

Cookbook author Rolando Beramendi will bring Old World tradition—and new olive oil—to the Roadhouse for Chanukah! Join us as we celebrate his new book, the harvest of olio nuovo, and Erev Chanukah, all in one really great event!

Chanukah is a festival of harvested light, and it also commemorates the harvest of olives. Ari Weinzweig reminds us that given the time of year, “the core of the Chanukah story—the miracle of the holy oil that burned for eight days—is pretty surely about new harvest olive oil.”

Olio nuovo is the new oil made from Italian olives harvested right before the holidays, and it will grace the dishes we will feature at this very special dinner on December 12th. Join us at the Roadhouse, as culinary archaeologist Rolando Beramendi sheds light on the beautiful green, peppery flavor of Tenuta di Capezzana on Erev Chanukah. The Capezzana estate has been making fine wines and extra virgin olive oil for nearly 1,200 years, and we will taste their new, freshly pressed harvest this year. What a beautiful gift of the season from Rolando!

The talented food importer has been bringing essential flavors of Italy to Americans through his company Manicaretti since 1988 by sourcing out regional, artisanal ingredients. The miraculous 5-course menu he has designed from his new cookbook Autentico: Cooking Italian, the Authentic Way will connect us with the very best of these ingredients at our Italian Special Dinner #218. Guided by Rolando’s expertise, we will explore dishes from this amazing book as they were meant to be prepared: simple, full-flavored, and autentico.
