Come celebrate two things that are very close to our hearts : The Korean Harvest festival of the eighth Lunar month and the farmers that bring us their harvests and make our food what it is.

For this dinner, Chef Ji-Hye Kim will interpret ancient Korean Harvest food traditions to showcase the exemplary produce brought to us by Melvin Parsons of We The People Growers Association and Eric Kampe of Ann Arbor Seed Company. Ji-Hye will tell you all about the classic festival dishes and how she chose to express them so she could honor both an ancient tradition and the mission-driven produce of two amazing farmers.

You’ll get a chance to meet Melvin and Eric, drink German wines paired by our very own Amos Arinda, all while being regaled with Chef Ji-Hye’s stories about harvest traditions, an ancient king, the women he honored and the rabbits in the moon! We’re certain your mind and heart will be as sated as your taste buds.
